..it's Saturday, 3.25pm..the door bursts open with the first of the young and giggly and talented Saturday artists..the youngest is 4 and the oldest is 10..this Saturday we all made the shape of the month a wooden Handbag..they chose their own papers and paint..they traced and cut and glued and painted and embellished all by themselves..they talk and laugh and create and when the last little body leaves i cannot deny i'm slightly tired but as I've said many times they make my day..they are our future crafter's they are me and you..
..today Sunday i met Elaine's lovely Granddaughter..she is only 14 but so talented and full of ideas and energy...she made me realize that teenagers are bursting with ideas and although at times they try to shock us and the moods go up and down and the hair colour can change with the weather they are us years ago..it is the us we need to re-visit before we forget...thank you to Elaine's granddaughter for making my day today..
