.. exercises in the morning..

...i've been a really good girl and decided to do my exercises everyday if possible..30 minutes if i can.. running?,aerobics?,walking? i hear you ask.. no i have been doing my free motion exercises for the last 3 days..i thought rather than waste all the great info i gained on Friday i would practice and practice.. not in the conventional way(but hey that wouldn't be me!!)
..I sprayed a 15x9 piece of calico with bright orange and green inks..threw some rock salt over the top.. dried it with a hairdryer then made a "sandwich " with wadding and calico..

..i love the effect the salt leaves behind

..exercises are under way..breathe in breathe out..

..a couple of loops

and i'm under way in my own little world of fun..

..its quirky i know but it will fit nicely in my fabric journal..

..i couldn't resist the bubbles with variegated thread ..then i made a little tag for my tag journal
..i have to say i really enjoyed my exercises and didn't feel tired at all !!

How good are you! I wish all the ladies that have taken my FMQ workshops were as enthusiastic about what they have learned. Don't forget to have a healthy breakfast before you do your free motion excercises. Well done Sandra. Pratice is your best friend.

exercise is good, whether it's physical or creative! I love your new exercise routine, especially that fabulous splash of color. This free motion looks fun, like painting with thread and machine.

This is my kind of exercise (with a chocolate break thrown in!)

Look forward to seeing your creations when I'm next on "The hill".

Fabulous! The orange fabric is gorgeous. You are quilting and thread painting! Just remember to keep your shoulders relaxed and to. b r e a t h e :-)

Check out 'designing by thread Terry White' on utube - I think you'll like that too.
